Interests:Hanging out with my hubby, Shaun, my 2 1/2 year-old daughter, Hannah, our newborn son, Aidan and our dog Kita and friends and family. I LOVE t.v. I also like buying cute clothes for my daughter and son and being crafty. There are several crafts that I know how to do, but I have a very hard time finishing projects :) You can read more about me and my life on my site - which is mainly protected because of my daughter and son, but I always enjoy meeting new people so drop me a line. Occupation:SAHM
I've been sooooo bad with Xanga There was a time there when I just wasn't myself - don't really feel like getting into all that. Just wanted to let you know that I'm off to catch up with you all and then I'm going to do an entry with a bunch of pictures (I was getting them all ready).
...not for me? We started last night so I really haven't given it long. I don't think the laundry will be a big deal and it's not that anything else about it is necessarily hard, but here is my issue - size. It's very upsetting to me (especially in the beginning) when my kids move up a size in clothing!I knew the cloth diapers would be bulkier than disposable, but they just seem HUGE I don't know - maybe since he still has his chicken legs and as Shaun likes to say, "he's in his frog stage" - maybe once he's a bit bigger it won't seem so bad. I just feel like I have to put him in bigger clothes now to accommodate the diaper and it makes me sad. The honest truth of the matter is that he was still wearing newborn size pajamas and they were getting a little small. The 0-3 month ones are still big up top but due to the bulk of the cloth diaper, it's a bit difficult to get the bottom part snapped. Naomi, if you read this, can you please tell me if the size issue gets better once the baby fills out more? The place I ordered from actually has a 30-day money-back guarantee on the brand I got, but that 30 days was yesterday. I should really stick it out, but if the bulk/size thing is going to remain an issue, then maybe I'll email them and see if they'll give me the couple extra days past 30.
I really don't have the energy for a big entry right now, but I just wanted to thank everyone for your prayers. I had a dr.'s appointment this morning and my blood pressure is back to normal. I told him that the contractions have been getting pretty bad so he checked my cervix and it was fine. I am 35 weeks and 2 days today. As of right now my c-section date is going to stay the same. My next appointment is the 18th.
